We are going to use number of beers it takes to enjoy this game fully...since we are under age and have never had any (*nervous cough*) we are going to "pretend" we know. The lower the number the better the game. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

My Warhammer 40,000 Ork figure

This is from the Assault on Black Reach Set, with a box of Ork Boys and a Loota and Burna box. I painted with brands other than Citadel, and some of these Orks have skin that glow in the dark. My methods of paint are available upon request by a comment. More photos to come...
**Note: sorry for the amateur quality of the pictures. I posted this to give a small idea of what they look like and to emphasize repaints of the figures to my cousins who also play this game. Also, sorry for the two sideways pictures, i didn't want to fix that error**
Out of the Warhammer 40k strategic war table game, it deserves a 1 out of 10 beers.

Infamous 2 preview thoughts

When I watch the Infamous 2 teaser trailer that Sucker Punch has released this comparison came to my mind: Cole's new look just had a jarring similarity to Nathan Drake from Uncharted, as if he was some lost twin or brother. And to put my word out I thoroughly dislike it! I found Cole's look from the first game as more unique and iconic, a little less generic. I mind less the new clothes, city, and voice actor but that hair concerns me too much and makes me think the character as someone else other than the the Cole I loved in InFamous. I just hope they change him to look more like the original later when they are finishing the game. [The expected release date is sometime in July 2011]
Just expressing my opinion, until next time: -- Mystery Black

Bionic Commando (2009) Review

Spencer: Woah is that a
long health bar or are you just happy to see me?

Radio: There's no way out, you'll just have to F@#$K it!

Spencer: Um…
Bionic Commando is an interesting game to which I have had the pleasure of being gifted it from my cousins.
The game provides a sequel of a reemergence of a to the iconic arcade bionic commando from oh-so-many years ago(1987). The Bionic Commando's name is Nathan Spencer, he is followed far away by Radio with Joe and a General, fighting for the Federal States of America. The design of the game is in a modern turn for the better and here is my breakdown:
The game-play has two main compartment of video-game actions: Wire and arm movement, and gun firing. The guns vary from snipers to shotguns to pistols to rocket launchers and grenades. They all work well and I find no problem with the guns as they work as expected. Wire and Arm actions of Spencer's allow you to swing around with some boots as safety for when you crash, punch, whip, throw, kite and hack objects. Punching and throwing has been to me unconventional.
I also feel so constricted in the levels not being able to roam many directions because of so many unconventionally placed radiated zones which kill you if you enter for more then five seconds. In the game there are challenges such as killing a certain amount of people with your weapons and finding these little icons around the levels.
But what I disliked about this game is that if you do these challenges but die before saving then you have to do it ALL AGAIN from a checkpoint. That is a major fault in the game since there is so much to do between checkpoints. Eventually I had to say to myself "Forget the challenges and enjoy the game."
The bosses in the game came in a few varieties but the usual thing to do is throw everything at them (or shoot them in a weak spot at the back). Chiefly the bosses were these giant walking humanoid robots that jump/fly and shoot shrapnel guns, missiles or a laser beam that you can use yourself (and bring with you across levels to instantly kill other bosses and fleets of enemies). If they weren't that kind of robot then it was a polycraft flying plane. My favorite two bosses was with this gargantuan hovercraft with its polycraft sidekick at the top of a building having a view to the city and the MOHOLE which is a giant drilling robot worm that I loved (and if you lose then retry you get the quote at the top)!
A disappointment to me in this game was with the final boss and final level which seemed to me as if they did a lazy job with it.
The graphics are at an acceptable level of detail and the music score is very booming and bombastic (I have found myself humming the theme more than once). Plus Bionic Commando has one of the more interesting pause menus I have seen. A strange thing in the game, of which I love, that is slightly controversal is its use of in-game Advertisements on Billboards and vending Machines (it is effective because while playing the game I felt like a Pepsi when I saw the vending machines with the Logo on it).
Overall it is a well done game but there is a good chance you might hate a copious amount of it. It has a moderate amount of swearing and blood but I don't find it to be in the Rated M, it can pass as a T rating with a few modifications. Bionic Commando is intensive and detailed but leaves a good room for improvement. After a certain level of powers the game doesn't seem to change in the way you play it. 2 and 1/2 out of 10 beers to enjoy if you ask me. It is a classic game remake sequel with a strong base in gameplay, I wish I had tried how the Multi-player is.

Until next time (probably in Austria) -- Mystery Black

Iron man 2 movie review

Are you wondering to see Iron Man 2 but previous disappointed sequels have you reluctant to watch it? Let me tell you my opinion.
So in correspondence of my nerdgasm and love for superheroes I reserved my tickets for Iron Man 2 two weeks ago and heres what I thought. Firstly there is a lot more special effects than the last one, you would have to have seen the post-credits to the last one (basically Nick Fury played by Samuel L. Jackson approached Tony after his press conference into the "Avengers Initiative" in the sequel, in Iron man 2 you see Tony having a role being selected and a consultant with Fury).

Besides that the movie takes where it is off, just six months later. Some Russian named Ivan Vanko is able to engineer the designs of the Arc reactor from Stark and builds his own weapons. Stark is realizing he gets problems with the mantel of Iron Man (hint it has to do with blood toxicity which I thought was following some alcoholic plan). The following plot was actually surprisingly unpredictable which left me enthralled in the movie.
The Special Effects were amazing, the acting was great and the action was exciting. Music in the movie was a combination of the thunderous plays you often hear with a touch of Metal rock and a bit of Hip Hop here and there; nothing music-wise is too catchy. In the movie I did see some minor product placement. The acting on Robert Downey Junior's part fitted the role. Pepper Potts seemed like the rational character. The main villain Whiplash was more superficial but worked as the antagonist. Just the one who played Justin Hammer seemed eccentric and out of place in the movie since the eccentric one was supposed to be Stark, but the acting did provide some comic relief as he reminded me of Owen Wilson.
Now as you might know, they replaced Jim Rhodes / War Machine from the first one with another actor because the first one was just not good enough. And to be honest, the character of Rhodey was preserves and I cannot tell the difference (I am not racist, I see a minor difference but they are too alike).
Overall I loved it, I'll give a plot overview if you want to check it out. It is the Epitome of Awesome, IRON MAN 2 surprised me! You should see it. 0 out of 10 beers to enjoy (if you could even sneak any in).

Iron Man 2 Plot overview

Too cheap or too busy to actually watch Iron Man 2? Yet you do want to know what happened.
Allow me, Mystery Black, to tell you vaguely what happened.
Basically Ivan Vonko sees that Tony Stark has created a mini Arc Reactor. Using stolen plans from his recently diseased father he builds his own reactor and weapons that are electric Whips. Stark is busy with the public in his Exposition trying to promote peace and cooperation.
Stark gets called to court on turning in the Iron Man suit because Senator Stern (I believe that is his name) sees it as a weapon; Justin Hammer of Hammer industries (which I think the name is a reference to the Dark Reign series where osborn takes over S.H.I.E.L.D. naming it H.A.M.M.E.R.). Stark makes a mockery of them supporting his claim that others aren't even years close, he shows tapes of failed attempts from N.Korea Irag and Hammer Industry.
He has a high toxic level in his blood building up where you see these gray lines expanding from the arc reactor at his heart which constantly need to replace parts. He needs to replace this with something more permanent which is some miracle element not existing.

So seeing Stark has a little days left he starts taking preparations into leaving a legacy. He appoints Pepper Potts as his C.E.O. He donates many of his valuable stuff and parties hard.
In a race car event in Monaco Stark takes a race car but the race was interrupted by whiplash. Much destruction, you see an awesome new Iron Man Suit made from a suitcase and Whiplash or Vanko goes to prison. When Vanko was confronted by Stark he made a few remarks hurting his feelings, saying that if god bleeds people won't believe in him so he wants to shake confidence in Iron Man. Justin Hammer was a witness to the battle and soon helps him escape on the premise that Vanko helps make Iron Man suits for him.
Pepper Potts who now is overwhelmed running the company hires sexy and smart Rushman Natalie (I hope i don't get that name wrong either), who later turns out to be working for shield, presumably the Black Widow. Potts gets more and more stressed, and Stark is starting to die even faster.
Eventually on Stark's Birthday Rhodes takes actions against Starks Duped behavior and takes the MARK II iron man suit against tony and a bad-@$$ fight scene ensues destroying many walls and windows of the house. It was a phenomenal battle of two Iron Men. It was left a tie out of a collision of both of their energy beams leaving them both Knocked Out. Rhodes gets up and flies off with The Mark II Iron Man suit.

Later Stark talks with Nick Fury on what Starks actions are leading him to. Fury tells on how Whiplashes father was a co-founder of the Arc reactor which was meant to start an energy cold war. He is left with possessions of his father and finds out he has the designs for this mystery element he needed earlier left from a recording from his father and tables of his visions of the future with plans of what is needed yet he was limited in technology from his time so he left it to Tony to build it later. So with a laser made level with a captain america sheild to make it more level Tony Stark makes this blue laser hit a Triangle thing to make it glow and solve his poisoning problems by replacing that triangle thing in the Arc reactor.

Meanwhile Whiplash takes the resources from Hammer to build an army of self serving military drones while secretly making a suit for himself. However because of lack of results he turns to Rhodes' newly acquired Iron Man suit and pimps it out (I am saying that because a song playing during this gave me those words) with machine guns, more guns and most importantly an armed devastating mini missile called the "Ex-Wife."
Justin Hammer goes to the Stark Expo to present his drones and his *cough* Iron Man prototype, but they all come under control of Vanko. Stark arrives in an improved Iron Man Suit (slightly bulkier, but the most noticeable difference is a triangle instead of a circle). There is a fight with Rhode's / War Machine's suit being controlled, chaos in the midst of thousands ensues. Amazing scenes of fighting. Potts and Natalie find out where whiplash is controlling the suits, Potts has Hammer arrested and Natalie takes out Whiplashes control over Rhodes by finding his computer in Hammer's facility. Stark and Rhodes fight Whiplash in a modified suit and eventually they win with the colliding beams move between Rhodey and Stark. But in Whiplashes last words he blows everything up because the Drones and His core were rigged to Blow.
Pepper gets saved by Iron Man, and Tony lives very happily with his court problems gone courtesy of Nick Fury (yet Stark was demoted from the Avengers Initiative, only to be a consultant).

**** Post Credits: After the long credits line of actors and Grapic designers you see this scene.
New Mexico, a shield agent drives up to a crater where much bustling analysts are involved, at the center of the crater, shown by a clever camara angle, you see Mjonir or Thor's Hammer. That's my biggest disapointment, I expected to actually see Thor or Captain America, not just that little Hammer. Oh well *****

Time Shift (Nostalgia Reviews)

(click photo to enlarge)

Believe it or not this video-game was my first Play Station 3 video-game experience. Now that I look back it is not the best to start with, but it works. It made up from lack of Definite story in music and especially Game-Play. What makes this game unique in its way from the rest of the swarm of first person Science Fiction Shooters you see is Its very unique weapon. Aside from the good weapons and character design this game has, the only thing that will make you play this is one feature that I barely see in Video-games and they did well.
In this game, you have the control over time!
And that is the thing that I love of this game. In this game, you can Slow down, Pause and Even REVERSE. Yes REVERSE time, at the push of a button. And the way that works is too awesome to let alone. There is a computer that tells you automatically what is best to do if you press the button to shift time, or you can do it manually. This feature is unique to this game, as you play there are so many experiments you can try out to maximize your advantage, and pwn the enemies you are after. You can grab their guns before they fire, reverse the grenades they launch, stop them from shooting you, basically all the problems you get when playing games can be corrected or not. (too bad the shifts are limited) Besides that you have a couple of puzzles and such that you have to do with these abilities, you can use it with vehicles and Torrents. This is a very fun game because of that. I love it.
So let me break down this story for you in the beginning. A scientist at a secret Lab developing portable Time travel goes back in time with a suit that you helped made. You take the Beta version and go after him before the whole place explodes. But he got more into the past then you and created an alternate reality where he rules. You join a rebellion movement and you can get the jest from there. The story before what I told you comes in Flashbacks of the player (whom you never see the face of). The story during the rebelion kind of comes like Call of Duty, you hear the guys talk and you can look around. The characters you fight vary from Normal Soldiers, snipers and mercenaries, to guys who also control time ( Much hard to kill because they move fast or seem to teleport [slow down time or pause it]), to Flying planes and blimps, to torrent robots that look like they belong on Robo-Cop, to a giant walking machine that a lot of games seem to have similar ones. You know what I am talking about, they're black, have four legs and walk everywhere. I see those kind of things on Fracture and Jak 3. (you probably don't know what I talk about)
Before this gets to long I'll conclude my review. It is a great classic game for its single player game-play ability to control time like you want (although it does have multi-player with people who surprisingly still play this). It is a great experience and you should check it out. I include a video showing you what I am talking about.

Internet Quests: Spirit Animals

A while ago I was reading Ultimate Hulk Versus Wolverine. And in that Story, in some hallucination, Wolverine found out that his spirit animal is a panda (one would think that Wolverine's spirit animal would be a wolverine). Pandas are my favorite animals to draw. And in one internet search I decided to take a quiz on What would be my spirit animal? aparently its a bear. And A panda is a Bear so my Spirit animal must be a PANDA ! Yeah. you should take it too and tell my what you are. There are no viruses, this quiz is actually pretty intuitive. http://www.jerismithready.com/quiz/

The Club

Another quick nostalgia Review. The Club. I'll say right now it is a an ambiguous pass. Although it is good in some aspects of the game-play, it fails over-all in other parts and play-ability factoring.
It feels kind of short in its levels. There is basically no story. In one way you are trying to escape the Club which is run from a bunch of Psycho Killer. But mainly your are just killing people like some Gladiator. They all seem like stereotypical characters. The graphics are good for it. However in the game-play it is all just some racing with extra Targets and enemies ( I love how it calls out headshots). It works but not too brightly, the game stresses you. All it is is looping around with a countdown, but dieing in the process. The best aspect of the game is its Title music, which is awesome in my opinion.
I feel lazy and will stop the review here since there isn't much else interesting to you in the game. five theoretical beers out of ten.

BioShock Review (with spoilers)

"I am Andrew Ryan, and I am here to ask you a question. Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?

'No,' says the man in Washington, 'it belongs to the poor.'
'No,' says the man in the Vatican, 'it belongs to God.'
'No,' says the man in Moscow, 'it belongs to everyone.'

I rejected those answers. Instead, I chose something different. I chose the impossible. I chose...

Rapture." The first line of the game.
Ah. This is merely a hee-haw nostalgia review. I'll be reviewing the 1st Bioshock Game. Would you kindly listen. By my standards it has become a classic, I've never heard it enough times on how good this game is and how well they designed it. In most cases I agree. It is awesome to have telekinesis, pyro-kinesis, and electro-kinesis on your hands in a first person view where you actually feel like the character. They did a good job on that part, often I got scared and angry, frustrated; but I got concentrated in the game because of this kind of presentation. But the gameplay does get hairy at points, but if at first you don't succeed ...
You fail.
But most people when tell you when playing this game, as will I, is that the story, detail and remaining mystery is what makes this game good. You've been following the orders of a stranger thinking to get the bad-guys but in the end it turns out you were played all along! Your brain explodes at that information (or at least mine did, I get so emotional with the game)!
I love the way you can see the Video and hear the radio and audio recordings, it gives the game another level (Batman: AA did this and I love that game too).
The Big Daddies (I keep thinking they are pedophiles with that name and their "little sisters")when you fight them are attenuating and difficult, often I died. The bosses are as varied as you can get with a shooter and there are to possible endings to the game, depending on how you treated the little sisters. (in one you live a happy long life, the other you are evil.)
It is more rewarding (in ADAM) to be evil. That's all I will say. This is a classic and a definite rent or buy it. As inspirational in videogames as God Of War. I would love to get the second one to review for you and the others (donate now please!). Until the next Video Revision. --- Mystery Black

Fracture

" In the year 2161, survival of the fittest will take a whole new meaning. Cybernetically enhanced forces from the east will battle a genetically engineered army from the west, utilizing never-before seen terrain deforming weapons. The battlefield will never be the same."
Or will it? This is an old 2008 game from Lucasart that I got a long time ago but forgotten about it. It isn't a bad game, in fact its really good. It is just there are now so many games like it. The game is in a battle between the East Coast and West Coast (Tupac and Biggie Smalls anyone?).It was great because it had this terrain moving gun where you can shape how the battlefield is to your advantage. Besides that, it had multiplayer, good graphics and a wide selection of weapons to test out, along with vehicle challenges which I don't see in shooter games anymore. The game-play is third person instead of first person like most shooters are and it follows the story of Rhodey (War Machine from Iron Man anyone?) and eventually you get through many detailed and varied battlezones. It is very well done.
Yet I am going to sell it to be able to review other games for you. 1 out of 10 beers to enjoy because it feels too much like I've seen something like it before. (especially this giant walker Dreadnought thing which looks like something from Jak 3) ---- C U next time. Hee-Haw Mystery Black.

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 for PS3 (Extensive Review)

Superheros. They're good for Videogames right? What more than the untapped entertainment power of the thousands of Marvel characters. This was what I was thinking when I looked at Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 for the PS3. I had the first one for the PS2 and I liked it at the time, it had this re-playability factor and a sense of Epic with the amount of characters and the amazing music. Now for the sequel, I was expecting an overwhelming improvement over the first. So, let me tell you my impressions on this sequel.

Gameplay is smooth but generic, a few of the characters you play have very similar moves and styles, the proclaimed epic "fusion moves" where you combine powers of two superheros do good with a lot but combining similar people with the same powers get you the same kind of result, such as a person with a beam will always reflect the beam through Wolverine's claws or Captain America's shield to produce a clearing line. The melee fighting has been generic as the last one with light and heavy attack combos and numbers scrolling above the enemies on the screen. One improvement is that you can change the heros While you are fighting and that leaves room for some creativity and adaption. Plus for that. Grapics are a definite improvement over the last one, is well done but it is not spectacular.

Music is an extension of the game-play. I remeber in the first one they used a lot of classical instruments (flutes, scores of violins, thunderous drums) that gave an epic feel when fighting Giants and such. Sample Here from Youtube, you should listen to it. The sequel has a lot less giants, that disapointed me. But the feel of the music more using Techno and rock made you feel more bad-ass superhero controller than an ominous force. To me, music makes a large part of the game fun so that is why I Talk about it.

As for Voice acting: A lot of the characters sounded generic, but proffesionally well done, nothing wrong in it. It is incompatible with other voice actors like the Joker from Batman Arkham Asylum who sounded amazing. Some of the actors just sound like normal people with few breaks from monotone. But that doesn't matter.
The story is a different story. Excuse the cloy tautology. They advertised this game as following in part the Marvel Civil War which was an amazing series of comics following superheroes forced to register or get arrested, the series played on your views on laws and many of the superheroes fought against each other and died (including Goliath & Captain America, but I think he is reborn though ;)). They did follow vaguely it for what felt like sixty percent of the game. Then they got into this weird side-plot and out of place Nanomite story that just got me confused having read comics and never seeing that. In the previous one they had a cinematic in the end that shown the choices you made in the game had side-effects, narrated by Uatu the Watcher. They never shown that in MUA2. Again, disappointed but not complaining.

The game is easy to play in easy so if you get it play it in normal. Overall it is not a bad game, meets some expectations but lacks a *gasp* "WOW!!!" factor. It is a better sequel. So in amount of hypothetical Beers, this reviewer gives it a 3 out of 10 beers to fully enjoy.
Until Next Time---Mystery Black

Star Wars the Force Unleashed II ?

(click the photos to enlarge to 1080p HD)

Today I was at Gamestop and then this trailer caught my eye. It was one of my favorite video-game characters "Starkiller" from The Force Unleashed. You should have heard of it with its sales of 7 million units worldwide. **If you haven't finished/got the first one and care for spoilers stop reading this now**I thought maybe the trailer was of this alternate version of the game that I saw in Europe. But this wasn't it. He was conflicted, and now sporting two backward held lightsabers, in a stadium and about to face the baddest Rancor I've ever seen.

But then I thought: hee-haw wasn't that guy dead? (the trailer I was looking at had no audio) So this game has caught me by surprise. I thought they wouldn't make a sequel to this, the story was too good and fitting with his death (or turning into a crippled Sith in the alternate ending). So I searched it up. To me it looks as if the game has more conflicts of desires now. I am super excited and can't wait sense it seems to come out this year. My guess around the months of September to December. It is a wonderful surprise, I would love to buy it. I'll post a link to the promotion site here in case you would check it out.

inFamous

This game has been at a hee-haw of a request from my friends and I decided to finally review it. The game inFamous has been one of the three game I own for the PS3 that I have played all the levels more then twice. It is a thrilling game and has an enticing story. This game has an intrinsic setting where you can choose between good actions and evil actions and it would reflect in your powers. Instead of good, trusting blue lightning you would have red-black lightning which looks bad-ass. The powers you get for choosing good or evil also changes on your karma.

They executed the idea pretty well, and I have been a Sucker Punch (r) fan since their Sly series which were some of my favorites for the PS2, and I often still play them when I do have time. It was their first game for the PS3 and goes really up to my expectations.

The game-play is an okay kind of third person shooting/fighting superhero. And the city you play in is extensive. I definitely have no regrets with this game, but I do think there is room for improvement. (on accord to the down-loadable add-on, its okay and works but is too easy to kill civvies in the process) 1/10 Theoretical beers to enjoy. -- Catch ya next time. Mystery Black.

My Top 10 Movies found in Blu-Ray

I'll give you my list of the top ten Movies to own on Blu-Ray and a reason for it. The PS3 is great because it has Blu-Ray. Feel free to provide feedback. ---Mystery Black
Number 1: Batman The Dark Knight. So I have a spot for my only favorite D.C. Character. So it is from 2008 and has arguably one of the best ways to make a superhero movie. Amazing acting from the joker, Imax that shows on the screen, all the details you see are actually worth seeing. The action is splendid and the Drama is Realistic. The special features on the disk were actually insightful and I liked it. In the Blu-Ray Disk the screen shifts based on the Imax and regular camera, but the scenes are constant and it gives you plenty of stuff to watch besides the movie. It was well executed the way they released it.

Number 2: Avatar. It just got released and it is awesome, the image is crystal clear and full screen all the way, details again are worth watching (and its safe for the kids), however, there are no special features, and the story is good but not too much in my opinion. That is why it gets number 2, sometimes #2 happens you know?

Number 3: Blade Runner. You have to love the classics. This has been a favorite movie of mine because my father introduced me to it. With Harrison Ford in the mix the story itself plays out, and the movie continues to have influence with Science Fiction today (Recently with The Movie Gamer, and Moon). It is visually stunning for its time and deserves to at least be rented and seen once by any man who likes good fiction.

Number 4: 300. "This is Blasphemy, this is Madness, This IS SPARTA!" Who wouldn't want their minds boggled with CGI Blood squirting across the screen and seeing fantastic fights and feats of soldiers. You know its good.(I didn't think to put Watchmen in here because you would think of some dominance of blue people.)

Number 5: The Descent. This is mainly for those who like horror, and GORE. They did a really good job in making this, its affect of horror is straight out, no disappointment on my Side.

Number 6: Star Trek. I am surprised on how low this actually gets on the list but you know why this comes recommended. Visually, and acoustically, it is a BLAST.!!! Beyond awesome, plus you can find it paired with a Digital Copy which is fun to have on Your IPod or IPad and the IPad Mini(The IPhone). Or tap it in to the zune-iverse.

Number 7: Transformers. This is a Tie between one or two, But mainly because i love the sound these robots make. I was disappointed with the second one because it had scenes in IMAX I saw in theaters that were cut down to normal size in the movie. Its great to have for your sound system.

Number 8: BBC Planet Earth on Blu-Ray. A lot of people are recommending this for Blu-Ray, it has been on the top ten spots for many people of many sites and so on, it must be awesome to look at.

Number 9: 2012. From the King of Disaster movies like the American Godzilla. It is one movie that leaves you thinking, great to watch everything explode right in front of your eyes. In the two disc set, you see deleted scenes and alternate endings and an interactive Mayan Calendar. You get a sense of scale with this movie. It is great. Also from this guy I have 10,000 B.C. which I recommend but not it is not the best.

Number 10: 2001 A Space Odyssey. Yet another classic, beyond time, it is great to watch in standard, a beautiful sleeping aid for many people ;) and in HD you get to see all the details that were skipped in the '60's and see what they can't get away with now. They really did well restoring colors. Plus the extras are great.
Basis of Ranks: Story Quality and Visual ecstasy given. Do you Disagree with my list? please comment so.
Other recommended Blu-Rays: Terminator Salvation, Indiana Jones 4, Spider-Man 3, X-Men Origins Wolverine. Don't forget to help us by donating or sharing this site. Please? ----Until Next time. --Mystery Black.

Batman Arkham has moved

Quick game news for you. As you may now i reviewed batman arkham asylum, it is one of my favorite games as I have allready told you. Batman: Arkham Ayslum had sold 2.5 million units worldwide and got th Guinness World Record as the “Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game Ever”. Now I am excited to see that a sequel to that is in development. So far it is called "Batman Arkham has moved."
There is lots of talk and a bit of confirmation of future vilains including Satana Katic as Talia Al Ghul, Kevin Konroy as Two-Face and a guy from futurama as Mr. Freeze.
Sounds pretty cool and i can't wait to see it come out. They set out a teaser trailer and a promotion website: http://www.arkhamhasmoved.com/
There you see an awesome looking trailer. or if you don't trust the site just search Batman Arkham has moved on youtube. that should get you the trailer.

That's enough, Catch you next time. --- Mystery Black

Note-
I think my favorite part of the game other than killing stupid goons is figuring out the riddlers challenges....and goons being crushed by debree from batman's gel dispencer of death... :D

Soldner-X: Himmelsturmer

I recently read on the interwebz that the sequel to this shump would be out soon so i decided to beat it once more. I remembered why i loved this game originally. It is a 3D 2D sidescroller that pits you against the world, earning continues the more you play. I beat the game without a continue (barely) last night and man those short cutscenes and 10,000 enemies i killed really entertained me for the hour + it took me. This game needs 2 out of 10 REAL beers to enjoy fully, mostly because we have all seen this story before and might wanna develop ignorance. It is on the PSN and will probably be a bundle soon with the sequel so get it! Worth the money you cheap bastards would be using for porn anyways. So, get this and learn a little german.

Batman Arkham Asylum

"Welcome to the Madhouse Batman"
Hee-Haw it may be late to review this but I say Batman Arkham Asylum is the best game of 2009. It has the best feel for a batman game. The gameplay holds you able to become a hard to the core fighter where you take on many at once, with your moves and gadgets, or just go to a ninja-like style, hide in the shadows and take them one by one preying on their fear. The gameplay is beyond phenomenal and there are few errors, the game never freezes or does weird %^&* like others tend to do. In fact the only error I've encountered was his cape coming through a wall after rolling and pointing the camera at ground level. Now for the "special features on the PS3." It's free downloadable content that goes into challenge mode of the game (which by the way shows how you compare to 70,000 other people who've played the challenges. I rank mostly around 30,000th). They accentuate the play as joker for PS3 mode. I found him, compared to Batman, a little more slow but steady. The challenges for him are hard but it needs to be like that. The story in the game was acceptable, Nerd win to having having Luke Skywalker from the '80's to play the joker, bosses were varied (my least favorite was in Croc's lair), and the game has a tremendous amount of puzzles and details in the levels. It is a game to BUY FULL price.
0 out
of 10 beers to enjoy.
(sorry for the long review but you need to know how it really is.)

The N-Game

A lot of my friends were playing this game instead of doing their work and I decided to check it out since its title seems to mildly hint at racism. Okay so i figured out the controls and played it for a while. It is terrible, don't ever go near it. It is too bad to be popular. There is a slight hint of addiction to other people because it requires skill. Don't get close to this game. (yet I will post the link because I don't know why). 5/10 theoretical beers--Mystery Black again. C U later.

First Grandia Boss dead

I finished the first level in grandia officialy today. After you arive at the sult ruins you have to go through a simple maze filled with treasure. You run into Herr Mullen and escape his clutches barely by traping you and fighting the clay bird. That's where I left off

The Hardest Game in The World (seriously)

I am going to keep this short and to the point due to a few complaints. - Mystery Black
Ever wondered what the world's hardest game is? Well I went on a google quest and found something a bit too close. I got to level six with 357 deaths before I decided to quit at it and review it. It is made by some dude named Snubby at Armor Arcade, and it is available for the Iphone according to an Ad. And apparently the game lives up to its title. It is called the worlds hardest game ( I swear it is just too real).
The rules were too simple, you're a square, avoid the blue circles and collect the red circles and get to the final green spot without dying. In between the levels you get smacked with supportive text like you're guarantied to fail. or tips etc. ¡¿¡¿#@¡ ǝʞıן pǝsnɟuoɔ ǝɯ ʇɟǝן ʎɐןd-ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ noʎ ןןǝʇ uɐɔ ı It is possible, but unlikely you will win. I rate this game a 3 out of ten beers to enjoy because it has this cool corny music that you can make a party to.

Until next time I'll enjoy my American Sushi because I know its Sushi but not Japanese.

Penny Arcade: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode 1 Review

WARNING: CONTENT OF THIS GAME NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN
Cover
This game is an animated feature based on a web-comic about a couple of guys who run this detective agency for the supernatural... One reminds me of Superman, he is a complete idiot and may only have A braincell. The other is a nerd with a machine gun. Then you join with the amazing weapon of a.... RAKE to right evil fruit-fornicating robots a.k.a. Fruit Fuckers Mark I-IV and malevolent mimes, as well as hobos and clowns and a slumlord.
So far, so good right? Well it gets better with the most repetitive, yet fun gameplay and a comic book style cut scene layout. If that isn't enough, you get to dump your hands in FUCKING PISS! You eat hobo meat soup and even get to work out with invisible weights! What more could you want?
Well, I wanted a less repetitive game and voice acting... But that's just the opinion of someone who spent their money to get this game. Get this game if you like comics and like vulgar jokes. This game needs 4 out of 10 beers to enjoy fully. The story is amazing and the cut scenes hilarious, but the gameplay is repetitive and lacking. You won't notice that drunk, plus the jokes get funnier!!!

Dragon Age Origins

Dragon age Origins is a decent game.. this game is obviously made for a PC but its still great on the PS3. the story is pretty "original" lol no pun intended but it has some redundancy and "Lord of the Ring" plot developments. the level system can be annoying sometimes because you want attributes not skills since they effect your strength and how well you talk....yes you need to have a character that is good at convincing people to do things for you or else you will have to do some things the hard way but you can just pick some one up later to do that for you non rouges. the additional content will be reviewed later since it is 40 bucks...so donate money so i can buy it lol..but the other DLC that i have will be reviewed with awakening. ;) i have to keep you wanting so you will follow out blogs now don't I.
this game gets a 4 out of 10 beers to enjoy fully

Heavy Rain Review (Old one)

Okay so I am the new blogger they have introduced me earlier. Today I am going to review for you, spoiler free of course, Heavy Rain. Now I have been playing this with my cousin over a span of 1 week. And I, Being the intuitive and intelligible fellow that I am, figured out who the killer was early while playing it, but the fact that the person was the killer was very surprising nonetheless. The story has a natural feel to it, the gameplay could be too realistic for the player in addition to it. But it gave a sort of tug on your emotions where you literally felt like the character your playing. Now I am going to tell you about the gameplay: It can be boring as *^%. If you are not trying to figure out what next to do then you keep messing the sequence or direction you press the buttons to the controller. Nonetheless it had this natural feel to it. Again, I seriously felt like I was the Character. They gave such attention to detail everywhere, and I mean everywhere, not one stone was left unturned in figureing to put stuff in the game, a lot of stuff you could do seem irrelevant to contributing to the story like Drawing a house or looking out the window. There were times with the FBI agent that his glasses technology had me annoyed to tears trying to figure the things to do. Yet some of these details provided clues (SPOILER ALERT) like in the begining of the story you see a letter, which at the end you will realize is the address of the killer's crime scene. I, personally enjoyed the parts where I got to see virtual boobies controlling one of the characters (that scene was a definite plus+ ;D ) One more detail about the gameplay: Concerning the few six-axis moves you had to do throughout the story I didn't really see any bugs coming out of there so a plus for that. I found the game overall well-made detailed and intuitive, although there was some lagging behind. The game really gets you emotionally involved. So for the rating in Hypothetical Beers to drink while playing this would be 1 out of 10 beers because you want to get a little ignorant of the details yet sober enough to follow the story. So this has been Mystery Black, with his first review on Wildeyezgaming. till next time. P.S. I urge you to help spread this word, we want to get a better website with more professional stuff on there. Just for your entertainment i will add a few letter word art concerning butts, cause i like butts. I hope you will forgive me Witch and Superman (_!_) = Normal Butt
(__!__) = Big Butt
(!) = Tight Butt
(_?_) = Dumb Butt
(_E=MC2_) = Smart Butt
(_$_) = Rich Butt

(_x_) = Kiss My Butt
(_X_) = Get Off My Butt!
